DISNEY, NICKELODEON AND TEEN STARS UNITE FOR PEACE DAY 2011

Peace Quest’s 14th Annual Peace Day event in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 14th will feature a live performance of the song “If The Earth Could Speak”.

Peace Day 2011 will be on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00am to 8:00pm at the Westwood Recreation Complex – 1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025. The performance of “If The Earth Could Speak” will be at 1:30pm. The music video has been directed by Grammy winning director - Tom Trbovich (“We Are The World”), and the song produced by Billboard winning music producer Drew Lane ("High School Musical"), with over 50 young stars participating in the music video.

ABOUT PEACE DAY

Peace Day is an annual free community celebration of unity, education and entertainment for kids, friends and families. This year, once again, Peace Quest is partnering with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, the Westwood Recreation Complex, and Friends of West Los Angeles, with an anticipated attendance of over 5000 people.

In addition to celebrity appearances, community informational booths, and an art and poetry contest, PEACE DAY 2011 will feature its 2nd Annual Youth Basketball Tournament and host the LA City Synchronized Swimming Finals - bringing in kids from all over the Los Angeles County. Participants can also look forward to the sounds of local bands, community performers, carnival games, bouncers, prizes and FREE food all day long!

KIDS HELPING KIDS: JAPAN "IF THE EARTH COULD SPEAK"

“We are the World” Grammy winning Director Tom Trbovich and Billboard Winning Producer Drew Lane (“High School Musical”) teamed up for the worldwide launch of the music video - "If The Earth Could Speak" for the “Kids Helping Kids: Japan” fund raising event which was held at Tru Hollywood on April 2nd, 2011.

Over 50 young stars participated in the making of the music video.

The purpose of the event and music video was to raise awareness and direct donors to: ChildFund International an international child development organization working to aid children devastated by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and resulting tsunami which hit Japan on March 11th, 2011.

The music video was executive produced by Momentum Entertainment and sponsored by eWorld Music Awards.
